Lewisville Independent School District prides itself with more than 18 schools receiving the "Exemplary" rating and 28 schools earning the "Recognized" rating by the Texas Education Agency. LISD also has six National Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence, which is the highest designation a school can earn by the United States Department of Education
Forest Vista Elementary, located just steps from Brookstone, received Gold Performance Acknowledgements from the Texas Education Agency in 2006-07 for: Attendance (05-06); Commended on Reading/ELA, Writing, Mathematics and Science; and Comparable Improvement - Reading/ELA.
Forestwood Middle School is rated a "Recognized School" as a result of its 2006 - 2007 TAKS scores by the Texas Education Agency. It has received Gold Performance Acknowledgments in 2006-07 for: Attendance (2005-06) and Commended on Reading/ELA, Writing, Mathematics and Social Studies.
Flower Mound High School received Gold Performance Acknowledgments from the Texas Education Agency in 2006-07 for: AP/IB Results; Attendance Rate; College Admissions; Commended on Reading/ELA and Social Studies; Recommended High School Program/DAP; SAT/ACT Results; and Texas Success Initiative for ELA and Mathematics.
